What would you suggest a King reader try?
Just read a couple of "top 100" novel lists, again. I'm sure Animal Farm was an important book, but shouldn't the list have books you actually want to finish? For every "Deliverance" there seems to be 20 blaaahs. Step above Harry Potter and Hobbitts, but still entertaining?

Are you looking for suggestions? I'd say that some of my all time favorite novels are The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers, Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, and The Talisman by Stephen King and Peter Straub. Why don't you try the top 100 list by year instead of all time and look for more contemporary choices? I'd try Goodreads.com if I were you.
