Polls: how many of you were nervous when you had to say "I Do" during marriage, any regrets or happy?

I was not nervous and felt nothing when I said "I do". This is my only marriage and ceremony was held at the city courthouse....odd reaction I know....my husband cried. oh call me cold. lol

I was very nervous on the day we married. Mostly because we don't like being in front of people and we should have opted for an even simpler and smaller ceremony than we had.

I am very happy 26 years later. I spend every day with my best friend and the love of my life. Life is good and we are enjoying it fully. Our kids are almost raised (youngest is 17), they are thriving, and we have a close and happy family and a home filled with laughter and love (and at times teenage angst).

those were sacred oaths taken on God's promise.
