What can I do with old real estate sandwich board signs?

We are no longer in real estate - but have about 40 sandwich board signs (with names and phone numbers and company logos) in our garage. What do we do with them? I called some companies to see if they would buy them - but nobody is interested. Should we get ready for a trip to the landfill? UGH!

Check with local churches, or a school nearby; they may be able to find a use for them. You probably won't be able to sell them; would those same companies you called want to take them for free instead? I, too, would not want them ending up in the landfill.

If none of the above works and you are willing to give them away, perhaps a sign shop would be interested since it is something they could refurbish and resell.

Silly person, the front's can be repainted and re-purposed - Look for local businesses that may want street signs. Or sell them on craigslist for GARAGE SALE Signs.

    Try churches, community organizations

    List on freecycle
