is spongebob really ending?

Is it really I will be so mad even though I don't watch it as much it literally is the only show that makes it worth watching TV

    No nick would never cancel spongebob because

    A. 90's kids would cause WW3 because it is the only show left that was still playing from the 90's

    B. There are a lot of reposts on instagram and twitter with the hashtag #savespongebob but nick confirmed over twitter and various websites that spongebob is not ending.

    C. Nick would lose SO many fans. Ask cartoon network they canceled all their good shows like courage the cowardly dog and Dexters Laboratory, power puff girls and put in crappy shows like legend of korra (wth) and a bunch of lego crap. if cartoon network was smart they would bring back these shows ( i wish) so it would be a terrible idea to cancel spongebob. even 2000's kids would hate the idea of it being canceled.

    D. the spongebob merchandise and the ride/ world at universal studios. just no. no.

    So it would be REALLY retarded to cancel spongebob ( don't listen to that "spongebob makes you dumb. all tv makes you dumb (not really) unless its educational. )

    Spongebob Ending

    @LgH

    I'm a 90's kid and I wouldn't care the least if SpongeBob ended its sad existence. When I was young I couldn't get enough of SpongeBob. I watched it all the time and I even had SpongeBob bed sheets. But over the years I saw a GREAT decline in quality of the series. I found out that Stephen Hillenburg created the SpongeBob Squarepants Movie to be the END of SpongeBob. Then other people wanted to continue SpongeBob and totally flipped the series. Its comedy became completely reversed and the characters lost all likeableness. I'm not saying that ALL episodes today of SpongeBob are terrible, no. A few give me a good laugh here and there, but the one reason that I don't like the show is because, said by Jack Douglass, Random does not equal funny!

    If you don't think I am right and you think that SpongeBob deserves to stay on air. Watch two episodes back to back. "Rock-A-Bivalve" (my favorite episode), and then watch "Squidward in Clarinetown". After tell me how the comedy is even REMOTELY close to each other.

    Answering your question, No, SpongeBob is NOT ending, and the new generation of children have become so used to the new and stupid episodes that they probably won't agree with what I'm saying. SpongeBob has such a following and has made so much money with the new generation of children that I don't think this series will be ending for a long time.

    Actually Nick comfirmed SpongeBob will be ending on June 9, 2015. But not in January 2014. So we still have a good year & a half left of the Square dude.

    I'm Squidward and when SpongeBob ends (or dies) I'll be like, "FREEEEEEEEDOM!" Lol but really I love SpongeBob. Long live the sponge. Lol.

    No Nick would lose too many fans. The Legend of Korra isn't even that bad. It's just continuing the Avatar: The Last Airbender story which was a show that many people like me loved in 2005.

    not really. without spongebob, nick won't be so attractive anymore as much as cartoon network. they would never stop production of spongebob.

    I can understand it seems too overdone now and too obnoxious however it is the only animation show that they have kept for this long (excluding fairly odd parents if you count the pilots it's older than sponge bob) I honestly don't know IF they will get rid of it only the future can tell
