Why won't my mac turn on?

My mac will not turn on anymore. I force shut it down because the screen froze. It is at 100% battery. I press the power button, I hear the system turning on, but there is no startup chime. The white screen with a gray apple logo comes up, but the loading symbol is below it, like a normal startup, but it gets stuck here. I had this hard drive replaced recently. What is wrong with this? Do I need a new computer?

Usually a corrupted system file causes this response. Guess what? A PC like issue that also plagues your expensive MAC, only you don't even get a generic error message. Put the OSX drive your MAC shipped with into the optical drive, turn it on, and hold the C key while it boots. It will boot from the optical drive and you can run the drive utilities to attempt a file-system/permissions repair or reinstall OSX. Have fun!

You have to contact apple so they can help you. I left the link. You can post a question and they'll post a response but not right away. If you can't fix it, you may need a new computer or a new update. You can also take it to your local apple store so the clerks can help you fix it.
