Where is this Bible verse found?

It's something about a joyful noise (or praise) pleases God. Real vague. Hope you can help anyway.

Psalm 66:1-2 "Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands. Sing forth the honor of his name; make his praise glorious."

Psalm 81:1 "Sing aloud unto God, our strength; make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob."

Psalm 95:1-2 "Oh, come, let us sing unto the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms."

Psalm 98:4 "Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth; make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise."

Psalm 100:1-2 "Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness, come before him with joyful songs."

(Sometimes it's difficult to find the verses you're seeking with a concordance because you may remember them from the KJV but the words have been changed slightly in the newer translations like the NKJV or NIV, but the message is the same.)

One of the Psalms speaks of making a joyful noise unto the Lord, and references cymbal, flute, and drum.

Could you be referring to Psalm 98 or Psalm 100?

God is only pleased with His Beloved Son. Nothing outside of Him is acceptable to Him.

All His dealings with this world are centred in and through His Son. All things were even made by His Son.

This is the whole point and message of the Bible.

So therefore there can be no such verse in the terms that you state.

Perhaps the nearest is that comes to pleasing God is : Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

But as you can see that is inextricably linked to His salvation, which is Jesus Christ.

Praise can only be offered through Jesus Christ since only He is our Mediator, High Priest and Propitiation for our sins.

Outside of Him is only God's wrath.

God is only pleased with his Beloved Son and none other. To be accepted any must be joined to Him.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
