Energy of the electron emitted from beta decay?

Calculate energy emitted from Be-11

Using equation Q=(Mp-Md)c^2

where the parent mass (Mp) is the mass of Be-11

the daughter mass (Md) is the mass of B-11

I got around 11 MeV, is this correct?

    mass of Be-11 11.0217

    mass of B-11 11.0093054(4)

    Q=0.0123946 amu

    1 amu = 931.4941 MeV/c2 (google "amu to mev" )

    Q=0.0123946 amu * c^2 * 931.4941 MeV/c^2 / amu

    Q = 11.55 MeV

    a bout 11 dependent on your source for mass of the atoms.
