  • Headlight Condensation fix?

One of my headlights have been experiencing condensation and I am not sure why. The lights are about 4 years old and have never been damaged. I took out the assembly and inspected it for any cracks or improper seals and it looked just fine. I let it air out for a few hours in the sun and even added some silicone around the original body seal just for good measures.

All was good for a few days even when it rained or had a garden hose car wash it was nice and dry. But when I went to an automated car wash it started to fog up again. Hopefully there is a relatively easy (and cheap!) fix as the dealer quoted me about $900 for just the body of the headlight.

Any help would be much obliged!

  • How to fix a windshield chip.?

Well it's probably not the kind of chip you are thinking about, it's more of a gouge, there are no cracks but glass is missing. It's really small, about the thickness of a penny in diameter.

What can I do to fix it?

  • How are you doing today?

    Hi there!

Just taking a break before finals crunch, final project is due in a few days and nothing works! I can't get anything else done because I can't stop thinking about the darned project. But I guess I can't complain as I'll soon be done with all of this.

Enough about me how are you doing? I do hope you are having a good day!

  • Need some advice on education / career choics?

So I went of to college with my sight set on becoming an engineer, now my math skills aren't the best... but I felt like if I had enough drive I could pull through. Now I am several semesters in and am having major doubts about my choices early on.

Now the only reason I haven't gone to change majors yet is that I already feel like I am too invested into the major and that changing course now would mean that 80% of the classes would be going out the window.

So am I at the crossroads of leaving it all behind and changing majors, or should I continue and forget about my doubts?

    Thanks for your input!

  • Solve the initial value problem y"+16y=0, y(0)=1, y'(0)=0?

This was on the exam today, had no idea how to approach this since i'm so accustomed to solving Eigen values of decoupled systems. And in the heat of the moment couldn't see any relationships.

    A) Find the Eigen values

    B) Find associated Eigen vectors

    C) Find gen Sol

    D) Solve initial values

  • Energy of the electron emitted from beta decay?

    Calculate energy emitted from Be-11

    Using equation Q=(Mp-Md)c^2

where the parent mass (Mp) is the mass of Be-11

the daughter mass (Md) is the mass of B-11

I got around 11 MeV, is this correct?

  • A projectile is fired with an initial speed of 250m/s, angle of 60deg, at height of 110m.?

    Multivariable Calculus

    a) Find the range of the projectile

    b) Maximum height

    c) Speed at impact

    So I found the y component to be [250(m/s)*sin(60) + 110m]

    and assuming gravity is y=[-9.8(m/s^2)]

I set them equal to each other and solved for s and got [33.317s]

I then got the x comp as [250cos(60)] and multiplied it by [33.317s] and got [4164m],

This is not right and am not sure where to start...

  • NFL in the UK??? The London Wembley games?

I've never kept up with American Football but I recently heard of the international games hosted in London and it has been doing so for the past couple of years.

I never knew such thing existed and was wondering what the British think of the sport and if it's mostly British folk that go to the games or Americans traveling there?

  • How do you carry/hold conversations?

I'm not exactly a shy person but when it comes to carrying or holding a conversation, it seems particularly hard. The most I can get out of a conversation is "hows your day?" other than that I am clueless about what topics to talk about, I am also bad at talking about myself since I don't really feel like I have anything noteworthy anyone should know or just don't remember any good stories to talk about.
