Headlight Condensation fix?
One of my headlights have been experiencing condensation and I am not sure why. The lights are about 4 years old and have never been damaged. I took out the assembly and inspected it for any cracks or improper seals and it looked just fine. I let it air out for a few hours in the sun and even added some silicone around the original body seal just for good measures.
All was good for a few days even when it rained or had a garden hose car wash it was nice and dry. But when I went to an automated car wash it started to fog up again. Hopefully there is a relatively easy (and cheap!) fix as the dealer quoted me about $900 for just the body of the headlight.
Any help would be much obliged!

Probably the seal where the bulb plugs in or where the plastic is "welded" together has failed. check out Ebay to see if they may have an aftermarket headlight assy cheaper. Otherwise you may be able to drill a small hole in the bottom to help it vent. I had to do this for an explorer and it worked ok. just be careful and make sure you really feel there is no other option before drilling. You might get a good suggestion on here later.

the light housing has a vent on the bottom with a little rubber tube. its get clog up. so try to open it up with a peace of wire. If that don't work like big timber said drill small hole will work have done this before
