There both the same color but the first is bigger and the second is smaller, and the second has side pockets and a zipper on top. I need one for school, suggestions?

For school i'd go with the second one. The outside pockets are super efficient for like things you need quickly like your phone, ID card, chapstick etc. And the top zipper works good to keep everything inside, you don't want anyone getting easy access to your things :)

My mom has the second 1, so go with the first one.

the second one!! i have the same one.. you will love it.
there can fit tons of stuff inside because of it's very light but supportive and the side pockets are a big bonus for makeup,etc!
