Why does my computer run faster when it warms up?

Hello guys,

When I start my desktop PC it's laggy and slow, but when I leave it to run for a long time it gets faster!

Once a friend of mine told me the same note about his laptop, and I couldn't realize how right he was, but a couple of days ago I slept and forgot my desktop running all night long and when I came to work on it in the morning, man, it was super fast!

Update:

Thanks for your replies guys,

I know about the regular lagging of boot up programs and processes .. That's not the problem, the problem after that when everything settles up.. It still slow for hours!

And about the virus scanners and antimalware programs, yeah, I have avast! 2014 and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.healthboostpc.com/

It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

Most likely it is laggy and slow when you start it because there are various processes being gone through that don't have to happen once it's up and running. Also, do you have some programs set to run on boot, such as malware scans, virus scans, updates and so on?

That could also be a virus/malware problem, my friend had a similar problem, i suggested him to reinstall windows, he did that and had no more problems with lag when he starts the pc.

Cuz when its heats up it gets more energy from the heat.
