brother or wife. what should I do?

This Is Rather Long, So Please Bare With Me. My Brother-in-law got out of prison about 6 months ago for attempted murder. well when he got out he asked my husband if he could come over and do laundry. so he let him. well I thought it was a 1 time thing. but no, its every weekend. we pick him up, take him home. and even other places. does he bother to help with gas for our car? no. he calls every weekend knowing that we will be there to pick him up. if we don't answer the phone like if we are busy or cant get to it in time he leaves nasty voice mails. I told my husband that we need to tell him he needs to pas us gas money. my husband ignors me. he is taking priority over his brother instead of me. we have been married 35 years, but iam losing my patience. I told him its me or his brother. all we do is argue over him. I cant take it anymore
