What to send to penpal for Christmas?
I have a penpal who lives in Germany and I live in the U.S. We are sending each other items unique to our countries but I cannot think of any unique American Items. I want to avoid foods so Customs doesn't tear apart the package. Also, she came to the U.S. over the summer for a 2 week trip... so no coins and like items. Any ideas?

The Germans are known to love Native Culture .( they are called First Nation People in Canada) so why not send something of that nature .Make sure it is not made in China though. depends In what State you reside I am sure you can fine something of interest. P.S I see (checked your profile ) you are from South Carolina so I am sure there are reservations there .I know the Cherokee are in the north. My sister's live in Sumter.

DVDs of a popular TV programme.
As I said before, people in Customs don't "rip open" most food items, as long as it's not meat or fresh vegetables. Candy is fine.
