Here are the two questions:
1. What is the probability that the EIA is positive for a randomly chosen person from this population?
2. What is the probability that a person has the antibody given that the EIA test is positive?
Please explain the methods used to solve this. Thank you.

P[antibodies present & +ve] = 0.996*4 % = 3.984%
P[antibodies absent & +ve] = 0.004*96 % = 0.384%
1. P[+ve] = 4.368% <------
2. P[has antibody | + ve] = 3.984/4.368 = 91.21% <------
