Why are the Patriots Bad this year?
What happened to New England this season, why are they having a poor year? They aren't playing well. Through 14 games there only 10-4. They've already lost 4 games, and could lose more before the year is over. In recent years they've gone, 14-2 in 03,04,10; they went 16-0 in 2007, 13-3 in 2011. They aren't as good anymore.
Also all their games are close. I remember in years past they would have some blowouts.

There the AFC divisional leaders this year at 10-4 this season how are they a bad team ?
But the Patriots franchise you might not like my answer but they are in decline from a dynasty with Tom Brady in his last 2 maybe 3 seasons and Bill Belichick is the same .
This season they have average Wide Outs with there good Tight Ends with one locked by for murder and the other is a injury case ,
And less than a mediocre defense but maybe they could have one more 10 win season next year but after that .....

Well 10-4 through 14 games is still pretty great. This offseason was a bad one for the Patriots. 4 of their top 5 receivers from last season left the team. They had dealt with a number of injuries this season, some of which were to their most important players. The receiving cast was young, inexperienced, and unfamiliar with the Patriots' offense. It's a tough year for them, but to think that only 3 teams have a better record than them after all of that, their "bad" is somehow still better than 28 other teams. I do think next season will be a lot smoother for them. They really just need to stay healthy.

Actually, my best guess is that several New England Patriots players probably developed a poor work ethic during this past offseason. Had these Patriots players worked hard and performed very well in practice every day, they would have greatly improved their chances of being successful in football this season.

go suck a d*ck! look at actual bad teams... patriots fans make me sick.
edit: for 1, they got caught cheating and 2, they should have 3 or 4 more losses than they already have. the refs suck their d*cks and when its time to play big boy football, notice how teams that actually grind out win. every time they lose, pretty boy complains about some faux bullsh*t call.
@amazing spider man- lol, i'll be as serious as the person who asks the question. anyone who complains about a 10-4 record and saying its a bad season is either high, retarded or a jerk. granted its a sunday and im giving someone the benefit of the doubt only leaves one option. and why are you being defensive about your team? i mean even when my team does well (seems like 1000 years ago as a dallas cowboys and vols fan), i could take a little heat. its f*cking yahoo answers... id bet you wouldnt say sh*t about my comment if it was for any other team.

No oline and veteran WRs. Their defense is not brilliant but get the job done. But if it wasn't for Brady, this team would've been at 7-7 maybe worst.
