Bergamo, Italy right now?

I'll be in Bergamo next week to celebrate Christmas and I need a couple of heads up from locals/ people who have been there at this time of the year.

I know that the weather is cold cold, but is it snowy?

Any interesting locations I should check out?

How should I spend Christmas day?

Any further tips will be appreciated. Thanks

    Ciao Lara!

In Bergamo, in this period is cold ...

It could may also snowing ... Some times it happens in Italy, a maximum of two times during the winter. But it is rare!

I would recommend "Bergamo Alta" to you. Is one of the more beautiful Medieval city of Nord Italy!.You have to visit: Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, the Baptistry Colleoni and Piazza Vecchia! The best way to see around is to walk.

There is also an important Art museum: Accademia Carrara, with old master (BELLINI & others venetian renaissance painters)

    Young vibrant city!

I love Bergamo .... Have nice time there

Spend Christmas day, in a Church, worshipping Jesus?

Yeah, I know.........just pulling your leg. Maybe there's some good Jesus Birthday sales going on.

Further tips...........yes, get a steak florentina dinner in Florence. You will not regret it.
