Is Marijuana smoke easier on the lungs compared to Tobacco smoke?

This is a very serious question. I do not want anybody to favor one over the other, I want you to use credible, medical background research to determine that one of these drugs are in fact, better for your lungs. I also am not talking about an occasional smoker, I'm talking about a heavy smoker on both sides. In theory, it is not natural or healthy to bring in smoke of any kind into the lungs. As a person who has studied human anatomy in depth, specifically the respiratory system, I can come to that conclusion. I think a lot of people foreshadow how bad Marijuana can actually be for you. The smoke does still contain some carcinogens which may aid in the formation of cancer. Also, Marijuana has been linked with a higher amount of tar than Tobacco smoke. Tar is the black/yellow stuff that covers your lungs in the long run. I am a cigarette smoker by the way, and I think we already know bow bad that can be for you. My lung function has started decreasing over the years. I just want people to understand that just because you smoke Marijuana doesn't mean that you are safe, and won't get cancer. In theory, Marijuana can also cause Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder and may lead to Chronic Bronchitis, or Emphysema, the same avid effects cigarettes may cause. The reason why there hasn't been any linked cases to lung cancer or even death is because there hasn't been enough people that have smoked it long enough to the point where we can actually run respiratory tests on them.

Update:

I don't think the number of people that heavily smoke Marijuana is as much as the millions of people that smoke a pack of cigarettes a day (or more.) What I am trying to say is, I think if people smoked Marijuana as heavily as cigarettes a day, I still think they are at a greater risk of lung cancer and COPD than any average Tobacco smoker out there.

Yeah it is, especially if that cannabis is (proven) good for many different things in your body. For exemple nearly all cancers get much better by smoking marijuana as well as parkisons or other diseases.

    look it up.

And its fun and opens your mind.
