Jane Eyre or The Grape of Wrath?
I have to choose a book to read, research, and write an essay for my English class. We're writing on literary criticism, to be specific.
Don't know if I should choose the book Jane Eyre by Charlottte Bronte or The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. I know that these two books are not the same genre of books, which makes it even harder for me to pick, because I am not that specific to which types of books I like.
Please help me choose!!

It really depends on your taste. Personally, I'd go with The Grapes of Wrath, but I'm not a big fan of Victorian literature. Jane Eyre has more description and is more complicated in some ways, whereas The Grapes of Wrath is more simple. There's an equal amount of stuff to analyze in both. So, read some reviews and figure out what sounds good. You really can't go wrong with either. Happy reading!
