Hello Hi
What volume of liquid water is required to produce that amount of steam?
A drum used to transport crude oil has a volume of 162 L. How many water molecules, as steam, are required to fill the drum at 1.00 atm and 100 C? What volume of liquid water (density of water is 1.0 g/cm3) is required to produce that amount of steam?
For the first part of the question, I got 3.19x10^24 molecules, not sure if that's right.
And I really need help on the second part of the question, because I have no idea how to do it..
Thank you!!

A gaseous mixture contains 5.78g of methane, 2.15g of neon, and 6.8g of sulfur dioxide. What pressure is exerted by the mixture inside a 75.0L cylinder at 850C and 751mmHg?
I thought this question was odd, because it gave me a pressure (751mmHg) already....
I have no idea how to do this problem, so please help me!

1 AnswerChemistry7 years agoWhat is the ratio of the density of this gas to that of pure Oxygen?
To prevent a condition called the "bends", deep sea divers breathe a mixture containing, in mole percent, 10.0% O2, 10.0% N2, and 80.0% He.
a. Calculate the molar mass of this mixture.
b. What is the ratio of the density of this gas to that of pure Oxygen?
For question a, I got 9.202g/mol, not sure if that's right.
And I have no idea how to do question b. Please help me!
Thank you!!
2 AnswersChemistry7 years agohow do you find the molecular formula of amines?
I know that diethyl amine's formula is C4H11N (and that methyl amine is CH5N), thanks to Google, but how exactly do you find that?
also, what does it mean if it says "write the reaction of the following amines with water to form bases-- (CH3)2NH..."? or like, how do you do it..
thanks~

I searched for it all over the internet, but I just can't seem to find a map or drawing of the aqueducts that supply water to Yorba Linda, California...
(by the way, if it's any help, the City of Yorba Linda gets 45% of its water via aqueducts from Northern California, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and the Colorado River)
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

3 AnswersWords & Wordplay7 years agoJane Eyre or The Grapes of Wrath?
I have to choose a book to read, research, and write an essay for my English class. We're writing on literary criticism, to be specific.
Don't know if I should choose the book Jane Eyre by Charlottte Bronte or The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. I know that these two books are not the same genre of books, which makes it even harder for me to pick, because I am not that specific to which types of books I like.
Please help me choose!!
