Does this price sound fair to you? I'm selling my textbooks.?

I'm finally out of Organic Chemistry (Thank the Lord!!!) so I plan to sell my Textbook, Solutions Manual, and Model Set. I've found out that buying all of these things USED from the school store would be $233.15. I was going to ask $150 for the lot and it's all in good condition considering I bought it new. Does this sound fair to you? What would you charge? I don't want to rip anyone off, but I purposefully took care of these just so I could sell them once the course was finished.

Any and all advice is appreciated! Thank you~

If you're going to try to sell the set online, you need to look at the other online prices. Remember that as someone with few, if any, customer reviews, you aren't likely to be able to get as much as the sellers on various sites who have a lot of reviews.

If you want to try to sell it locally (make up some flyers and post them around campus offering to sell your book) look at how much you could probably get for it at Amazon or ValoreBooks or some other sites like those and then figure you can probably sell your stuff to someone at the school for a little more than you could get on a website (because it will be more convenient for the buyer if you meet him or her to do the transaction).

$150 sounds fair to me right now, but if I were about to buy that set, I wouldn't just accept a price because it sounded fair. I'd go look at some other prices for the same thing, and if they are more than a couple of dollars lower (including shipping), I wouldn't buy from you no matter how fair your price sounds.

    Good luck selling it.
