What is it about telling people your problems that make you want to cry?

I understand that keeping it all in and finally releasing your feelings could be the answer but what is it that makes us want to cry once we get it out?

the only thing that makes us cry once we get it out, is the person that's been there to talk about any of your problems. it's basically showing that the person cares about you, which probably makes us cry. In my personal experience, when i'm really depressed, my friend sees that. like as if he could see right though me if I say "i'm okay." He responds to me with a soft voice "Are you sure?" He gives me a hug. By that moment, i start to welled up in tears because of the care and the way he looks at me with concerning eyes. He sees that I lied my way out of it to not say anything of what was wrong with me. That's where i start to admit it and say what was wrong. By the look of what the person gives you, the feeling that courses in your body, gives you the urge to tell the person everything that you've been holding in.
