Me - my parents are always asking for ideas but I never have any. I don't do much and don't really have any hobbies - I listen to a lot of music and love animals - but with a no more pet rule, not allowed a horse (and already have riding stuff for weekly lessons which I pay for myself) and CDs being boring presents (as in every single person buying CDs) they have no ideas...but it means I've got some pretty awesome things that you wouldn't normally see on present lists (drive a steam train, keeper for the day experiences etc)

My oldest daughter and son and their mates. They all have lots of money. I live on disability, so I have no money. It's hard to even choose a small gift with meaning

My dad. Both my parents are the "I have everything I need" sort, but with women there are more "cutesy" things to buy -- perfume, jewelry, fancy bath lotion, etc.

For someone in the family because you don't know from every family what they like and don't like or when someone is just married and his/her birthday is coming up you don't know what to buy for him/her
since he/she is new in the family.

I'd say a son or daughter. I don't have one but I would imagine they would cry if you didn't get them exactly what they want.
