  • Can I now file another?

I'm taking a man and his payor to court for him wrecking my pickup. I have also included his payor, since he's the one in charge of the man, who wrecked my truck finances.

Just yesterday I get a Denial from the payor and a change of date for the small claims.

In the payor's paperwork, he added emails he received from the man which had in them him calling me a "*****" and a liar. I feel by the judge reading these that they are defaming my character. The man has also went around our apartment building telling other tenants the same things.

I just don't get it. He wrecked my truck. He admits to it. So, why be starting the name calling game. Would I have cause to ask the judge at the small claims trial to also add libel damages or would I even have a case? even later in another trial?

  • Is it really wrong?

Is it really wrong to hang out with and do things with someone you don't even like? I don't have any friends in this town and have became friendly with a neighbor lady. But the more I am around her, I realize how much I can't even stand her. It's more fun doing things with another person. I just can't stand the fact that she has now started drinking while driving. And I did tell her, I will NOT go in her car if she's drinking any more. I don'[t mind doing the garage sales and grocery store but she's getting hooked bad on her booze. She even has dialysis 3 times a week. I don't understand why she even bothers, except I guess so she can still get drunk on weekends and still have her blood cleaned on Monday. It makes me sick, but also being alone before I met her, I was pretty lonely. It is wrong to continue?

  • I have no idea on what to do...do you?

I have 4 grown adult children. I pretty much raised them alone. 3 of them live 90 miles away, the other 4 1/2 hours away.

It seems like I do not get invited to any of their family gatherings. I'm the last o know of anything and when they do pass through my town, they usually don't even stop.

This has caused me to feel hurt, left out and really wondering what I did so wrong as a mother. I have my 10 year old granddaughter this week. I even ask her why she doesn't call me if she has her own cell phone. She has everyones phone number in her phone, but NOT MINE. I look forward to my 1 week every summer with her, but also feel now that I'm just being a free babysitter while her kids club shuts for one week and her mother doesn't have to worry herself with finding a sitter.

I love her dearly, I love my kids. But with the way I am treated by all, I just want to pack up and disappear! I doubt I'd be missed!

I had to have done something wrong with the way I raised them, in order to have all of them be such rude, unloving children. I also feel like just a rest area when they do decide to stop. They all use the toilet and go on their way. I just want to scream!!!! Would u just pack up and hide?

  • When do you say " enough is enough with your bad health care"?

My regular doctor packed up and moved. I was given a choice of 2 other doctors, because they tell me I have to have an Internist. The clinic put me with the one they say is the BEST!

Of late, I do not find him to be a good doctor. It seems all he can say is "I don't know", "I don't know". Well, if he doesn't know, shouldn't he send me to a dr. that DOES know?

Yesterday I had to see him and took my granddaughter with. She's only 10 and came right out in a shocked voice, when he literally said BLAH, BLAH, BLAH! and said Grandma, this is rude!

I agree it was rude. I don't like seeing me have to go through this, let alone letting my insurance pay such a big fee to hear BLAH BLAH BLAH.

When do you say ENOUGH and either turn him in or make a complaint or just ask to be seen by another doctor in same clinic?

  • Small Claims Court Advice and input please?

36days ago a neighbor borrowed my truck. I thought he had full coverage insurance. And by him saying he did, I let him borrow truck. Well, I only have liability. Come to find out, he only does too. He happens to be a 53 year old man, that also has a guardian and a payee for his Social Security, because he can't handle money matters on his own.

SO, I've had to deal with his payee and Guardian only by email. Now, reading about small claims, it states it's best for the parties to come to an agreement out of court. This guys Payee is use to dealing with people who can't manage their finances, so he's use to telling people what to do. I am NOT one of his clients and I can manage my own finances on my own. This man now emails me telling me where I am to take my truck to get it fixed and when. Am I wrong or what? I don't have to take orders from the party responsible for damaging my truck, do I? I gave them tell early Monday morning to let me know what they would offer in respect to damages. They didn't contact me by email tell 4 pm. I'd already did all the paperwork and sent fees into court. Now this jerk is telling me what I have to do. I do not like it Since when does he have the power to tell someone when and where to go fix their vehicle?

  • When filing a Small Claims in court, how?

I'm in the middle of filing a Small Claims suit. On the package, it asks for "interest". How does one determine that in such a case?

  • I'm pretty sure I am heading to Small Claims court?

A neighbor who borrowed my truck, put over $2,500 worth of damages to it. I only have liability and found out he also only carries liability. Because he's disabled, and not capable of handling his own money, I've been having to deal with his "payee" and his aunt who is his guardian. ( he's in his 50's).

My big problem is his payee being so rude to me in his emails. He's accused me of being a liar, accused me also as "exploiting" my neighbor. My neighbor admits he did the damage, also admitted to the police and the insurance companies.

I don't know how to get this asshole payee to stop with his rude emails. He sure wouldn't be doing it if he were dealing with a man.

They haven't even said what or if their willing to pay me for damages.

I'm pretty sure I will have to take them to small claims. Do you think it would do me any good to have the judge read the rude, mean emails I've been getting on this matter?

  • Does a Guardian have to live close enough to the one?

whom they were appointed to be a Guardian?

I have a older neighbor,, in his 50's who's aunt is his guardian. In the 7 years I have known him, the aunt hasn't visited one time. Not ONCE!! Aren't they suppose to make sure the person their guardian to isn't doing without, or needs?

  • Should his Guardian also be served?

My neighbor, whom is 54 years old, borrowed my truck to go less than 2 blocks to get things from his storage. In the process of getting his things, he caused over $2,500 damage to my truck. My insurance nor his will pay for the damages.

So, I guess my only choice is to take him to Small Claims court.

He's on disability as I am. He though can't do his own finances, so Social Security gave him a payee to do his finances. Since his payee's name is also on his car insurance card, I already plan on taking this guy to small claims as well, if they don't agree to just pay me out right.

This neighbor though, also has a Guardian. His aunt who lives in another state.

Does anyone know if I end up having to go to small claims court, if I will also have to serve her papers to attend the hearing, since she's his guardian?

  • A good friend is starting to creep me out?

I'm an older lady who is starting to be creep ed out by a friend. It seems when we go shopping, she waits for me to pick something and then she buys the same thing. She's even dyed her hair the same as me. Kind of reminds me of that movie " Single White Female".

I feel if you say...make your gardens the same. There is nothing to talk about, if their the same. Know what I mean? How do I get over the "creep" feeling?

How does one go about getting a person's local address, instead of a PO Box number?

  • Some may, many might, all may?

More times than not, I don't word things right for many to really understand what I want to say, yet it comes out different. This is addressed to parents with grown children.

You know when there are gift giving occasions and when your kids are small, you adore everything they give you and keep tell you die.

Well, some may think I am a complete, ungrateful beitch, but it's not how I mean it. But do any of you with grown, adult children, ever wonder if your own kids even know you, by the gifts they do give? I feel like this today. It's so weird how my 10 year old granddaughter knows me better than any one of my 4 grown children.

I only ask, wondering if I am the only one out there, or here, who feels this way?

  • Was it rude of her to say anything?

One of my neighbors, whom I have cooked many, many things for her, has now made me feel bad.

She earlier this week, screamed across the store that she was buying 2 steaks to cook me dinner Wednesday. Just Tuesday, she called again and said she was cooking them tonight, Wednesday. Well, I sat here waiting for a knock on the door, or a call saying they were ready. I got NOTHING! No call to say OH I don't want to cook, or even a knock on the door to say she was sorry, but too lazy to cook.

Is she or isn't she being rude?

I fell I'd of been the rude one, if I'd called her and asked where my dinner was. :-(

  • Is there any one I can go to to make?

a complaint against the doctor who seen me in the ER today? I woke up just like a blow fish. Was scary. Got to the ER. Dr. only listened to my heart and lungs. He left the room. Came back a bit later, said your blood work is a bit high, but go see your doctor. I said: " Can I please ask you 2 questions?" He said NO I have rooms full of heart attack victims.and he left. Is this proper beside now days ? I was dumbfounded as to why he wouldn't even answer my questions. Piss off, upset and blowing smoke I was. Can I report this, or is it something I have to take and forget about? I was re-least about 12 minutes later, and there was only one room withe door shut. and 9 people, nurses and doctors standing and all laughing. Is that proper etiquette for a supposed er rooms full of heart attacks folks? I'm mad!
