Is it really wrong?
Is it really wrong to hang out with and do things with someone you don't even like? I don't have any friends in this town and have became friendly with a neighbor lady. But the more I am around her, I realize how much I can't even stand her. It's more fun doing things with another person. I just can't stand the fact that she has now started drinking while driving. And I did tell her, I will NOT go in her car if she's drinking any more. I don'[t mind doing the garage sales and grocery store but she's getting hooked bad on her booze. She even has dialysis 3 times a week. I don't understand why she even bothers, except I guess so she can still get drunk on weekends and still have her blood cleaned on Monday. It makes me sick, but also being alone before I met her, I was pretty lonely. It is wrong to continue?

You don't have to be close friends with someone or even particularly LIKE someone to be an activity partner with that someone. If you did, think how hard it would be to get even 4 people together for canasta much less 16 to form a bowling league.
So you aren't crazy about her, and you don't want to be around her when she is drinking, but you prefer grocery shopping with her to going alone. So go grocery shopping with her and don't get involved in other activities with her. There is nothing wrong with having activity buddies who are not also your good friends.

sometimes the more we get to know someone the more we decide whether we like them or not. You are using her in a way if you truly do not like her. In some ways I can understand where you are coming from. I have a co-worker that I basically like that I sometimes do things with but she is also a ditz! And it drives me crazy.
No one is perfect. It might be a good idea to find others to hang out with or go do things by yourself.

You whine about her but you're hanging out with her, meaning you purposely go to her. If you don't like it don't hang out with her, you can't "stand" her after all.
