I'm pretty sure I am heading to Small Claims court?

A neighbor who borrowed my truck, put over $2,500 worth of damages to it. I only have liability and found out he also only carries liability. Because he's disabled, and not capable of handling his own money, I've been having to deal with his "payee" and his aunt who is his guardian. ( he's in his 50's).

My big problem is his payee being so rude to me in his emails. He's accused me of being a liar, accused me also as "exploiting" my neighbor. My neighbor admits he did the damage, also admitted to the police and the insurance companies.

I don't know how to get this asshole payee to stop with his rude emails. He sure wouldn't be doing it if he were dealing with a man.

They haven't even said what or if their willing to pay me for damages.

I'm pretty sure I will have to take them to small claims. Do you think it would do me any good to have the judge read the rude, mean emails I've been getting on this matter?

Wtf does this have to do with etiquette? This is a legal question.

For your information, being rude is not illegal. People can call you a liar if they believe you're a liar.

    Good luck collecting anything.
