When do you say " enough is enough with your bad health care"?

My regular doctor packed up and moved. I was given a choice of 2 other doctors, because they tell me I have to have an Internist. The clinic put me with the one they say is the BEST!

Of late, I do not find him to be a good doctor. It seems all he can say is "I don't know", "I don't know". Well, if he doesn't know, shouldn't he send me to a dr. that DOES know?

Yesterday I had to see him and took my granddaughter with. She's only 10 and came right out in a shocked voice, when he literally said BLAH, BLAH, BLAH! and said Grandma, this is rude!

I agree it was rude. I don't like seeing me have to go through this, let alone letting my insurance pay such a big fee to hear BLAH BLAH BLAH.

When do you say ENOUGH and either turn him in or make a complaint or just ask to be seen by another doctor in same clinic?

I'd say enough is enough after the first problem. I'd demand to be seen by another doctor, and if that didn't work I'd go to a doctor in a completely different office. Insurance covers more than just a clinic.

However, if you have welfare you will be limited to which doctors you can see and in some areas there are very few doctors that take welfare and will take a new patient.

ask to be seen by another dr. dr work closely together on things. there is a code of ethics so be careful about turning him in if you want to stay in the same clinic. you want proper treatment ,maybe find someone out side the clinic that will listen to you. what the dr is saying is very unprofessional and maybe he's burnt out but I wouldn't want to be going there paying money to listen to that. you have choices. besides you are your best dr. and you should know a little bit about your body before you go into see a dr. because they can rip you off or tell you something you got and don't . misdiagnois. you.

Complain to insurance and change for your choice of doctors after doing your own research via ratings of local medical websites
