Pint removal in foot--Pain level?

Had foot surgery last week--doc had to put plates, screws and pins in my big toe joint due to advanced arthritis, bone spurs, and a huge bunion. The pin is NOT in my big toe, it's on the top of my foot threaded through the bones going into my toe. When he changed the bandage today I nearly went through the roof (granted, some of the bandage stuck to the pin and the stitches). What will the pain level be when he pulls that pin out of my foot?

Sorry to tell you this, but it'll hurt. I had a pin in with a bunionectomy. They took out the pin after 6 weeks or so. It took two doctors, a pair or pliers, and a lot of wrestling to get the pin out. Hope your experience is better.

It will be painless you will not even realize he is doing it
