When asked to describe my thoughts on GOD and Religion my train of thought led me right to gravity. . .

You can’t see gravity, You can’t taste it, I just know one thing for certain, that it exists.

The mystery's of faith an GOD are beyond human comprehension

Faith concerns questions which cannot be settled by evidence.

I feel bad that if someone does not have faith they would want others to agree with them!

How can the universe create itself out of nothingness? Given the fact that the universe began to exist, it must have had a “cause” that originated it.Doesn't it make more sense to assume the existence of a Creation. The question is tricky because it sneaks in the false assumption that GOD came from somewhere and then asks where that might be. The answer is that the question does not even make sense. It is like asking, “What does blue smell like?” Blue is not in the category of things that have a smell, so the question itself is flawed. In the same way, GOD is not in the category of things that are created or caused. GOD is uncaused and uncreated—He simply exists.

We know that from nothing, nothing comes. So, if there were ever a time when there was absolutely nothing in existence, then nothing would have ever come into existence. But things do exist. Therefore, since there could never have been absolutely nothing, something had to have always been in existence. That ever-existing being is what we call GOD ,GOD is the un-caused Being that caused everything else to come into existence. God is the uncreated Creator who created the universe and everything in it.

The universe requires a cause because it had a beginning, GOD unlike the universe, had no beginning, so he doesn’t need a cause. Einstein’s theory of general relativity, which has much experimental support, shows that time is linked to matter and space. So time itself would have begun along with matter and space. Since GOD is the creator of the whole universe, he is the creator of time. Therefore He is not limited by the time dimension He created..@

Life without GOD is like an un- sharpened pencil it has no point..

You can't see the wind, but you know it is there because you can see what the wind is doing. You can know that the wind is there because you can feel it.GOD is like the wind, you can't see him

HOLY SHÎT GUYS! The sun, trees and grass exist! If this isn't proof for god then I don't know what is! And how did you know I was rebelling? Damn right I'm rebelling! Rebelling against stupidity and ignorance. Seriously, I'm not an atheist because I want to show this "god" how much I hate him and so I can rub it in his face, I'm an atheist because I'm rational and like to believe in things that have had multiple tests and experiments performed on them with positive results, none which have ever been performed on "god"

    1. No the burden of proof is on those who claim a god exits.

    2. Not, it is not obvious. All the evidence is that none of it was created.

    3. If everything/one that ever existed had a creator, then the creator had a creator. Who created the creator?

    4. Theists are just parrots.

    1. No, the burden of proof remains on you as the claimant. Atheism is the null hypothesis.

    2. There are naturalistic explanations for grass, trees and the sun.

    3. Again... There are suitable naturalistic explanations that work just as well, if not better than "God did it".

    4. Rebelling against what exactly? Are you rebelling against Thor?

    1. No, they don't. You're making the claim. the burden of proof is upon you.

    2. No, that's not obvious. All of those things you list can be easily explained as being created by natural forces, and there's certainly no evidence that any god had a hand in it, let alone your particular god.

    3. Really? Who created your god, then?

    4. Nope. Atheists are stubbornly refusing to accept a bunch of ridiculous, Bronze-age mythology as being accurate without evidence to prove it. And since you and your ilk cannot show any credible evidence to support your claims, they reject them.

You ARE the weakest link, thanks for playing. Goodbye.

    1) The burden of proof lies with the claimant.

    2) All natural phenomena with natural explanations.

    3) Yes, they're called your parents.

    4) Poor way to end a bout of trolling.

Addendum: Larry - "Unless or until atheists an prove a exclusionary affirmative proposition that makes all gods impossible, atheism is a faith based position!.."

    Nonsense.

Atheism is an evidence-based lack of belief in gods. There is no "faith" involved, nor is there any need for atheists to "prove" anything, because we're not making any claim; we're rejecting one.

    1. Nope. Didn't get any message from god. Still up to you to prove god exists.

    2. Nope, not obvious at all. Please prove this.

    3. 'Everything/one' clearly includes god. What created god. Also, prove that everything/one that ever existed had to of had a creator.

    4. Nope, there is a great deal of sincerity in atheists who are simply unconvinced by your attempt to show that a god exists.

The only way to disprove atheism is to provide irrefutable evidence of God's existence

    1. Atheist don't believe anything " wish that they would disprove their existence"

    2. The world is to complex to be coincidental or to just be an accident. Their parents having them was an accident.

    3. Atheist are the emo kids of this world.

    4. Bye Bye

I will let you in on a secret... You don't have to disprove something that has not been proven in the first place.

Unless or until atheists an prove a exclusionary affirmative proposition that makes all gods impossible, atheism is a faith based position!..
