please help me stock my 30 gallon aquarium.?

Question

As u can see its  a 30 gallon long. Right now all I have is a blue jewel cichlid. Iys not aggressive at all. I had tiger barbs in there with it to help cycle my tank, (unfortunatelY they all died) fault. But now its been 2 weeks & I checked the levels.

I was thinking:

Bottom feeder; 1redtail shark or rainbow shark. Or 6 cory.

Middle/top: tiger barbs (small school), rosy barbs, or plattys

Top: male betta, a couple of females too

complimentary: jewl cichlid (already have) kissing Gourami, pearl Gourami, or snakeskin gourami.

But any suggestions Im open to anything.  Thanks for your help.

Ok ill just list the problems. 6 corydoras for bottom feeders is perfect. The sharks need 50 gallons of water mininum and the red tail is quiet aggressive. U could get tiger barbs or rosy barbs but they would kill your gourami or betta cause they are fin nippers so i recommend a tetra for that category instead. Bettas actually arent really top fish and they are incompatible with gouramis and gouramis are incompatible with eachother and bettas so keep one gourami that you have. Dont get male bettas with females since they will be aggresive unless mating. Females should be in a  odd number if u getting those. Ill give u some recomendations for fish

1x Gourami (will grow to be 6") 
4x Platies (each are 2-3", which you know) 
6x Black Skirt Tetras or any tetra within 2 inches (about 2", which you also know) 
1x Bristle Nose Pleco (MAKE SURE ITS A BRISTLENOSE since most plecos get triple the size of a bristlenose

5 Male guppys
8 neon tetras

1 Pearl gouramis
1 bristlenose pleco
5 Female Cherry barbs
1 Male cherry barb

Idea #3:
2 Angelfish
3 Swordtails

Plecos can be replaced with a group of corydoras or ottos
