what else can i do with an xbox?

My husband wants to get one for me for Christmas. I don't play video games. I currently watch Netflix on his. What else can I use it for?

Update:

Jayson, sorry I should have specified. Not an xbox one. A refurbished xbox. I told him not to get me the new one since I do not play video games.

The x box one has hundreds of uses, you can use it to do your workout videos such as zumba and many more including yoga, and unlike on the tv the xbox will gauge your movement give you your progress your, heartbeat, and measure your ability so you get a score for how well you did. It has instant Skype abilities, so anyone you know that has Skype you can just say "Xbox Skype Jenny" and bam your filling your bestie in on your day. You can use it as a music hub, and a full entertainment system. For example the xbox one will comes equip with HBO Go and they are working on a deal where gold members get it for free. Don't know if your into to football but xbox one has an excusive deal with the nfl for their new console and with their in screen view you can watch two games at once or watch one and babysit your fantasy team on the other. Or Skype a friends and mock them as you watch your team beat his/hers. It also has apps for facebook, instagram and hundreds of other apps, also it has hundreds of small arcade games like candy crush and temple run for a few bucks and you can play those when your bored. I would also like to point out that you can customize it with relative ease and with its facial recognition software it will pull your stuff up as soon as you turn it on and bam there are your favorite apps, games and stuff up on the screen. Its totally awesome just keep an open mind, I'm sure your husband wants it a little bit for himself but if you actually play around on it a bit then you will find lots of things to use it for.

I think it's a waste of money if your not going to use it for its primary function. Unless of course he's only buying for you because he wants to play it himself.

I wouldn't go out and buy a car, just so I can sit in it and play the radio.
