Wisdom teeth removal?

Tomorrow I am getting 4 non-impacted wisdom teeth removed, and one has erupted a little bit. I'm getting novicaine and laughing gas for it. How much pain/pressure if any will I feel during it? I don't like taking medicine so I am trying to avoid Vicodin if I can, but how bad will the pain be once my novicaine wears off? Is laughing gas going to make me feel terrible? Will I remember anything?

No one can really predict your pain, since everyone has different pain tolerances. Part of it will depend on how the teeth are positioned and how skillful your surgeon is.

If they give you a prescription for pain medication, I would suggest you get it filled, just in case. You might be able to get by with something over-the-counter, but you don't want to need something stronger and then not have it.

Laughing gas does not affect you the way anesthesia does. It helps to make you very relaxed during the procedure, then the gas is turned off and you breathe pure oxygen before they let you leave.

Make sure you ask all of your questions at the beginning of the appointment; at the end you'll just want to go home.

They should give you written instructions about eating and keeping your mouth clean. If not, ask for them. Too many people on here ask "When can I eat? What can I eat? When can I brush?" You need to get that information from the surgeon.

I'm sure it will go well. Just be sure to take it easy all weekend.
