I am 18 years old and I often get pimples under my chin. I'm not exactly sure how this happened, but I either squeezed a pimple under there and don't remember, hit my chin on something, or for some strange reason I have a small purple-ish bruise where a pimple seems to be forming under my chin. I am wondering if this is anything serious I should be concerned about or how I can get it to go away faster? Thanks for the help.

First things first, I am a virgin. So unless I am the next Virgin Mary, I am NOT pregnant. Anyways, I usually have pretty heavy periods that destroy clothing and everything, they recently got worse. But this time around, it's mostly brown and clumpy instead of bright red and liquid-y. Only when I urinate is when the bright red blood comes out. I recently got over a bad cold and have been slightly stressed so is that why it's randomly light and different? Thanks for your help!

My period is on time, but lighter and darker than normal and looks more like the end of my cycle. I've had it for 2 days now. I do NOT have sex. I recently had my college orientation and I have been having some stress about moving into college in the fall. Could stress be a cause? I usually have a kind of heavy period the first 2 days so I'm confused as to why it's light. At least I know I'm not pregnant, lol. Thanks for your help!

1) I am 62 and make 90K a year. I currently pay about $420.00 a month for

my health insurance and have a $5000 deductible. Why shouldn't I pay the

tax of $2000.00 and enroll in a health plan if and when I am admitted to a

hospital, have no deductible and save the additional $2800.00 in

premiums?

2) Why is it that the United States spends so much more per person on

healthcare (compared to say European countries) yet we have what is

universally regarded as a mediocre system?

Tomorrow I am getting 4 non-impacted wisdom teeth removed, and one has erupted a little bit. I'm getting novicaine and laughing gas for it. How much pain/pressure if any will I feel during it? I don't like taking medicine so I am trying to avoid Vicodin if I can, but how bad will the pain be once my novicaine wears off? Is laughing gas going to make me feel terrible? Will I remember anything?

Tomorrow I am getting 4 wisdom teeth pulled while staying awake with novicaine and laughing gas to calm me down. Is laughing gas going to make me all crazy? How bad is the pain afterwards? Is there any pain during surgery?

I'm 17 years old and I've never had any surgery and never been put under anesthesia before, nor have I had any teeth pulled. However, I have had Novocain shots before. I'm absolutely terrified of the thought of getting my wisdom teeth out and I burst into tears whenever I'm forced to talk about it. My mom is a dental hygienist and after talking to her, I think I would rather be awake. For those of you who were awake during yours, what are the pros/cons? Did you have laughing gas? Recovery time? Did you feel any pain during surgery? Is it noisy while the extraction is being done? I haven't found out if mine are impacted or not, but I don't think they are so I know I have to choose to be awake or not soon. Thanks for your help!

Well my mom got my work pants and accidentally washed my paycheck. Nothing left but shreds that aren't even legible. Will my boss be able to print me a new one and stop payment on the old one? I'm really upset and scared.

I usually get my period around the middle of the month. But this month has been midterms and I have been stressed. Hi I'm a 16 year old girl. I don't understand why I keep getting yelled at. I get good grades, I am respectful, and I don't do bad things. But lately, every little thing I do wrong, no matter how small of a mistake I make, I get yelled at and grounded. I'm sick of not being respected or understood. My parents don't listen to me and they keep ruining my life. Help. :(

My best friend is threatening to kill herself. Another one of her good guy friends (who she also likes) and I went to our high school guidance counselor, but she only talked to my friend for 2 minutes and called her parents, but the friend convinced them she is fine. I thought she may have been getting better after 4 days of the two of us talking to her, but she found out the good guy friend she likes, likes the girl she hates most. We are going back to the counselor tomorrow, but we still need more suggestions. Please help!

Another one of her close friends & I have been talking to her about it for a few days now. She isn't getting better and is possibly getting worse. We went to our guidance counselor at our high school and she only talked to her for two minutes and called her parents but the friend who wants to die convinced their parents they are fine. Should we try again with the counselor? We really need help!
