when i upload to youtube, my videos end up cropped or unplayable?
i have been the last two days trying to upload a 4 minute video to youtube, but there is no way.
I have tried.
uploading it from 3 different browse engines
- with google chrome it got stuck at 48% of the upload
- with firefox it stopped at 47% of the upload
- with safari it completed the upload, but it said error at the end of the processing part.
Changing the video length and file type and name
Going to an internet cafe in case the problem was my internet connection at home
At one point i decided to just let it be and see if it gets through the 48% with some time, after 3 hours, it made it though, but when i clicked on the link, only a 20 second footage appeared instead of 4 minutes, then, fed up, i decided to let it upload during the night, and now when i wake up, it is uploaded, when i click on the link to watch my video, i have a still image with no sound that lasts
9 minutes instead of 4, what is this?
Usually when i upload, it only takes like 15-20 minutes, but now it takes something like 3-4 hours.
Thanks in advance

You did a good job by providing full details about your problem. I think the video codecs are giving you problem neither browser nor your internet connection.
As in your question I do not see that if in past you have uploaded video with same format or not. Therefore, I will suggest please check your original video if you could watch on computer without any problem or not. Then I can think of another thing. On youtube when we upload a video and later if we try to re-upload we have to change the title and in some cases it could be messy situation.
Please if you want to re-upload better clear internet browser's history and cookies. Also check if your audio/video codecs are updated or not.
Additional: always keep updated Windows, Adobe flash player, Adobe Shockwave Player, Java and browser. It is good to have two browsers but more than that is not good.
