I have a cold and my ears feel pressured and I can't hear. What should I do?

I just woke up and I feel like there is a lot of pressure in my ears. Therefore I can't hear out of them well.

What should I do to make them pop?

Do NOT try to pop your ears! This can lead to ruptures of the tympanic membrane and make your condition worse. Do what the other person said--get an over-the-counter decongestant. It will resolve itself when your cold is gone. (And antibiotics do NOT help a viral infection. Until you know for certain you have a virus or bacterial infection, don't take any medicines not prescribed by your doctor.)

Sounds like an infection. If it does not get better in a few hours call the doctor and get antibiotics. In the mean time, try an over the counter decongestant.

well, it could be allergies, or possibly a sinus infection. I would take a decongestant and and antihistamine to start draining your sinus cavities. If it doesn't seem to get any better after a couple of days I would see a doctor.
