I have an Xbox one, xbox 360, and a microsoft windows 8 PC laptop. I have both of the xboxs configured via HDMI to a Yamaha receiver. Every application when run on any device works absolutely fine. However, when Netflix is opened, the display goes black, and all that still operates is the audio. If this happens on my Xbox one, it completely kills audio regardless of which game or app I'm running. The one has to be re-booted in order to work properly again.

I know my receiver is the perp, but I would like to be able to enjoy netflix on my 60 in tv and large, dual subwoofers.

Any suggestion on fixing this problem? Thank you!

This has been going on for at least four days. On my left hand, my index and middle finger hurt when I move them, and on my right hand, it hurts on the right joint where the hand meets the wrist.

My orthodontist gave me a mouth positioner to fix my midline. I have had this appliance for about 3 months. It is starting to become real yellow and it has a white haze where my teeth rest. I brush it nightly with my toothbrush and regularly soak it in listerine. Today, I tried soaking it in half of peroxide and half of water, but that didn't seem to help.

Any suggestions? Thank you!

Basically on one side of my mouth my bite is perfect, where as the other side of my mouth the bite is bad and my teeth grind. I recently had forsus springs with my braces, and they hurt! After that, I had my braces completely removed and now I have a permanent retainer on 6 of my top teeth and 4 of my bottom teeth. My orthodontist says my teeth will move to a better position naturally, but my bite will not get better.

Before getting the braces off, my orthodontist suggested that after I take my braces off, I get this bite-correcting solution similar to a mouth guard. He says you wear it three days in a row and then wear it only at night for the next three weeks. The same day I had my braces taken off, he pretty much told me that he didn't think I would be able to handle the mouth guard, and that I shouldn't get it. He convinced me and I had my braces removed. Now here I am two weeks later and I am worried to death about my incorrect bite! Recently, my orthodontist told me that if I were to get that "mouth guard", my teeth would have to be fresh off of braces (in other words, moveable). He said that in these two weeks, my teeth have settled in and that I can't get the mouth guard.

This has me pissed off because he failed to mention that before I had my braces taken off! According to what he said, I have to get braces on and make my teeth moveable again before I can get the mouth guard on.

Is that true? Sorry if this is confusing I'm really upset. Thank you!

I am a 15 year old boy. My mom is 57, my dad is 74. I love my parents so much. Every day I always think about when they'll die, and it tortures me so much. I can't imagine living without my parents, but I know by worrying now I'm going to ruin all of the good times with them. The anxiety is just so bad that I feel helpless! I always try to block it out or pray but that doesn't work.

Please help.

For my whole life I've pretty much only eaten pizza, French fries, grilled cheese, and sushi (I only get the avocado roll).

As I am growing up it is getting harder to keep eating this way. I want to try new foods, I want to be more open.

Also, I am a vegetarian. What are some things not too far out there that I can start out with trying?

I am currently a 14 year old boy in the 8th grade. This year is my first year in five years in an actual school because I was home-schooled for those five years, and before that I was in elementary school. Right now we are in our third quarter and we are over 50% done with the school year. However, I have anxiety problems and a mild sleeping condition which interferes with the daily task of going to school. The up side of going to this school is it gives me a good social life and it also improves my social skills, but it really takes a toll on me because of the sleep deprivation and less flexibility and freedom. I have considered going back to home-schooling just for the rest of this year, and then I would return freshman year. The good thing about me leaving is that I get more sleep, I get more freedom, I get somewhat happier, but there is nothing to help boost that social life and love life.

What I really would like to do between now and the beginning of freshman year is leave school and maintain a good social life (and above all else, a good love life) while I am not in school. I just don't want to seem like the odd man out when I leave. Do you think the guys and girls will keep in touch with me during my absence? Do you think I will seem like an alien when I return freshman year?

This all extremely worries me, I can't take it anymore!

Ok so earlier this morning I told this girl I've sorta had a thing with that we should go to a movie after thanksgiving break and then she suddenly dropped the ball and said she had a boyfriend. We talked about him and planned that if they break up, we would date. But it got kinda shady a few hours ago when she said she brought him to wv on a family thanksgiving trip with her. And then I asked her friend about him, and she didn't even know who the guy was, then I asked if she had a boyfriend, and she said she didn't know.

Could this girl be giving me total bullshit? What is going on here?

Btw I'm 14 and so is the girl, but the guy is 17 going on 18. What kind of parent in their right mind would let someone almost 18 and of the opposite gender accompany their daughter on a thanksgiving holiday trip? The whole thing is just shady, I don't know what to do. I'm just looking for a second opinion.
