Theme park dining with allergies??? Lemon, peanuts, dairy (yes, allergy to dairy not intolerance)?
When I offered to take my niece to Universal Studios, I did not know about her allergies. Now, I'm taking an 8 year tomorrow that is allergic to peanuts, dairy in any form or amount, lemon, watermelon, and pears. We have an EPI pen (she's never had to use it before and we REALLY prefer we not use it either) due to the severity of the allergies. I know I can ask when we get there for a manager of a place, but any ideas of what will probably be okay (that way we stop in an appropriate food place)? We are bringing sliced apples for snacks. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

There should still be plenty there to eat. Sounds like she can eat a hamburger (no cheese, of course) or a hot dog. Most theme parks also sell chicken fingers or nuggets, so those should be fine. Just ask for everything plain or maybe ketchup only. Stay away from anything with fruit, get or take water only to drink.
If park security has a problem, tell them clearly that your neice has food allergies and that you had planned to be at the park all day. Also, make sure you have as complete a list as possible from her parents just in case you missed something.
