Why does she want a st Bernard, find out why, then find a dog that meats her needs. rescure dogs cost a lot less. Look for st Bernard rescue in your area.
Let her know you are scared not having a dog to warn you of danger.

Create a powerpoint and list all the reasons why you should get one (I did this to get a laptop). Speak from your heart and tell your mom you don't feel safe in your own home and a dog would really help you out. Also considering adopting a Saint Bernard.
Wish you the best...

You cant
No dog will keep you safe so stop using it as an excuse. It doesn't matter why she only wants a certain breed, its her money and she can spend it how ever she wants. As a child you have no say in this.
You can't talk her into getting a dog when she does not want one.

Saint Bernard can be kept in trailer home but needs to be able to go on walks. And if your mom is willing to get you a Saint Bernard I say get one least you will have a good gard dog and companion

You don't. Her rules live with it. If you are a minor you can't own a dog anyway, it would be her dog. Finish school, get a job, move out, then get whatever you want. If you can't afford to purchase a dog then you can't afford the care so don't get one. Regardless of size or breed, proper care is expensive. Read on:
