has a cold climate hybrid Poinsettia been developed -yet?

I mean---developed-- BY PLANTS--CIENTISTS SO THE POINSETTIA PLANT CAN GROW IN A COLDER OR TEMPERATE CLIMATE-EVEN WHERE YOU GET FROSTS?

    No. They are incredibly sensitive to cold. So I suspect frost-hardiness will be impossible.

    I'd like to see frost-hardy basil, and maybe mango, too. But I'm not holding my breath.

    Yes there are poinsettias that can take very cold temperatures. Tupperware developed them in the 1960s.
