My teeth have already moved from my braces?
I got braces on thursday morning, and its been 3 days and it hurts soo bad. Ive been taking medicine but it only helps a little. My gums are really red, and above my top front tooth, you can see my gum is extremely red and even has a little cut in it (i think from the tooth moving)
You can notice that my teeth have moved a lot. My 2 canine teeth were up really high, and in a matter of 3 days theyre almost level with my front teeth. The pain is so bad sometimes i want to throw up. I cant even eat anything, but last night i had to eat something solid because i was starving and felt sick if i ate anymore soup. When will it stop hurting? And also, when i chew my teeth dont go all the way down. My front 2 teeth are resting on my bottom brackets, so my other teeth dont touch, making it almost impossible to chew. (Im guessing this is to fix my overbite) please help i cant take this pain anymore. I want to eat like a normal person without crying!!!

It will be okay, the pain stops in about two weeks. To chew you're going to have to shift your bottom jaw back as far as you can comfortably from now on. After a month I got used to keeping my jaw in this position. Two months in and I'm used to keeping my jaw like this all day, even while I sleep. This way you don't bite on your brackets and although your molars aren't aligned, you can chew decently.
