why are my headphones not working on my new pc?
hi so i just got a new computer yesterday and i run Windows 8.1 now. Whenever i plug in my headphones (logitech h540 usb) it tells me that windows didn't recognize the usb device etc. Now the weird thing is that i use a usb mouse and keyboard, both of which work perfectly fine. Also i tried to use the very same headset on my old laptop (win7) and it works just fine.
I checked on the logitech website, they say the model i have should be compatible with windows 8. do i really have to buy another headset now? i really like this one. i would be very thankfull if anyone could help me out with this.

Hmm, the Logitech site says it doesn't need any drivers other that what the OS already provides. http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/de... migh have more help for you.
I would try plugging it in, going to Control Panel to remove the device, then disconnect it and plug it in again to refresh Windows' view of the device.
