Girls and manners (burping)?
Okay so I know this might sound weird but where I go to school (high school) the girls have terrible manners and will seriously just burp at the top of their lungs. I mean it is loud! They'll do it anywhere; practices, rehearsals, lunch you name it. The guys at my school don't even burp as bad as the girls. Do girls at your school do this? Am I just uptight or is this behavior actually rude?

Some girls do.
I actually hate when anyone does it, guy or girl.
It's not classy, and it makes you look gross. Like, when I'm home alone I will burp as loud as I want but in public it just seems improper.

Whether it's guys or girls doing it...burping is just gross. I mean I get it if you do it on accident but if you are purposely trying to be obnoxious then it's just downright rude and disgusting. So no, you're not being uptight.

In certain settings and around certain people, burping IS rude.
However, let there be no double standards. If rudeness is accepted from guys, then it better be accepted from girls too.
