I have some Tattoo Questions?
Once I graduate High School I'm interesting in getting a tattoo but I have a few questions before I decided to do anything to stupid. Firstly I wonder if I could bring in my own design to have tattooed onto me? Secondly I was wondering how much it would cost. I don't it to big, just a little something on my wrist. Also If I get the tattoo on the top side of my wrist and not the part with the veins, will it hurt any less? If they have the same pain ratio then I might as well get in on the bottom part of my wrist. Thank you to whoever answers my questions.

Most of the time you bring in a design for the artist to tattoo on you. For the cost it depends on the artist. You have to call around or go in and ask them. I have both of my wrists tattooed and it doesn't hurt that bad. But depending on your pain tolerance it could hurt more or less for you. Good luck!

1. Yes, you would be able to bring in your own design.
2. Cost really depends on where you go. I have a very small tattoo high on my neck (the area behind my left earlobe) that says "je prie" (it means "I pray" in French), and it cost me $50. A lot of places have a minimum amount; some have even smaller minimums than the shop I went to. Then, I threw in a $10 tip just because the tattoo artist was so great at dealing with my freak-out about getting my first tattoo...lol.
3. How much it hurts depends entirely on how well you handle pain and how good you are at distracting yourself from pain. When I was doing research before getting my tattoo, I kept seeing stuff that said that the area I got tattooed was a really bad place to do because it hurt. That made me a little nervous...until the needle was actually in motion and I realized it wasn't bad at all. The tattoo artist went back over it a couple times after the first one, and that was the only time it started hurting because my skin was starting to get pretty irritated by it. But even then, the pain wasn't anything I couldn't handle. Also, I had a boy with me at the time that I was crushing on, and I was trying to impress him by how tough I could be...which, of course, kind of helped distract me from thinking about the pain, lol.
