Punishment: Is that enough?!?
Don't get me wrong, I'm humorously-serious or seriously-humored, whatever,
I 'punished' my 16yr old daughter (for a reason;) ) by replacing her clothes with ones I'd thought my Granny would have and taking all of her make up. Turns out that she loves the clothes and has gotten sooo many compliments without make up.
Has she been punishedl?
The 2 days sounds reasonable.
VRON, yeah agreed that she make out on that, Amish woman lol umm, I wish it was that simple. What worked for you? Or was the Amish clothing it...

Yes, she has been punished...enough. You stated the punishment and she accepted it. It isn't HER fault that the "punishment" didn't turn out the way you intended it to. And what do you plan on doing? Punishing her until you get the result you want? Next time, just ground her! Good luck and God bless.

I'm sorry but that was absolutely hilarious, I laughed until tears came out. On a serious note, do you really think you should get a "do over" handing out a second punishment? Why not leave this as a learning experience for both of you that hopefully brought the two of you closer? Besides, just imagine down the rode in the future when your daughter looks you in the eyes and says " Hey ma, remember that time you tried to punish me by dressing me up like grandma" and you both role on the floor laughing until you cry. Just a thought.

No, sounds like she made out on that one. You want to punish her, make her dress like an amish woman. In modern society, wearing long dresses all the time is enough to embarrass a child of this time.

I think she's yanking your chain. Give her the clothes and makeup back and see what she's doing in a week.
