I'm having trouble deleting music from iPhone 5.?
I have an iPhone 5 and iTunes seems to think that I want all my purchases (that I bought before I even got an iPhone) to be downloaded to the phone. I only want a handful of them and spent a good while choosing specific ones to be saved to a playlist for the iPhone. When I connect it to the computer it syncs with all the purchases on there. I went under the "On This iPhone" tab and tried to manually delete them from the phone and when i click Sync it just adds them back. I tried unselecting (unchecking) them but they still appear on it (and I have it set to only selected songs and playlists etc.) Please help cause this is taking up alot of memory on the phone.

A great trouble you have met. This used be a headache to me,too. Until I use Syncios, a freeware to backup iPhone, iPad, and iPod. You can use it to import, export, and delete musics, videos, photos on your iPhone freely.

Delete the music from your iTunes music library. The music that you delete will still remain in iCloud so don't worry, it won't be permanently deleted. Once you've deleted the songs, sync your iPhone and that should delete the songs from your phone.
Hope this helps.
