I don't have much family. My family was never close and now my mom is in a facility with brain shrinkage and my brother is a grinch so I don't celebrate much, it was a big deal when I was a child now it's like another day

I don't...what's left of my family is either atheist or dysfunctional and the atheist part of it just doesn't want to get into it with the dysfunctional part. We have been giving little gifts to each other every day for the past week or so...it's actually more like Hannukah...there is a potted tropical tree in the living room with little lights on it, when the lights come off, the tree lives on. I like that. It's just not a religious thing, more like having time to spend with each other when we're normally working too hard to even see each other.

I must admit I kind of enjoy the Starlight Celebration in Vana'diel. I'll be hanging out there a bit this season. I do all the cooking so a turkey dinner isnt out of the question either.

To thank the pagans for sacrificing their traditions to the christians that highjacked their holiday even through Jesus wasn't born in December and could care less about decorating trees or Santa Claus.

Because I live in a culture that pretty much drags everyone into celebrating it.
