What will happen to me with Obamacare?

I recently had insurance as a student and it was super cheap. I graduated in April and dropped it. My fiancé has insurance through his job, and we get married in May. Now, the law says that I have to have insurance by March something... But what's the point?! Why would I buy it for 5 months and waste my money, just to switch in May? If he didn't have it through his job, I would refuse anyway.

My question is, what will be my penalty according the Obamacare?

Don't worry about what the Law Says, Don't buy in to Obamacare, Just Pay the Fine, Its less then a hundred dollars.

Best case scenario, you will have $95 deducted from any Income Tax refund you may have qualified for...worst case, you will get run down in broad daylight by a drunk driver who dies of his injuries, you will spend six months in the hospital (and six months more in Physical Therapy) recovering from your injuries, and will be left with a bill that you WILL eventually be forced to pay because you deliberately refused to take responsibility for yourself and buy insurance...your bill could potentially be a million-and-a-half....(on the plus side, once you are married, your partner will legally owe half of that...so when the lawyers come after you, they can tap HIS assets, too....which will help!

95 dollars at most ... but it might be nothing considering that a marriage is a qualified life event. Hard to say at this point.

You will have to show (via your taxes) that you had insurance in 2014. You will have insurance in 2014 and, thus, you don't do anything other than get on your future husband's plan.
