    Variants within philosophy are related to many other areas of study including, of course , social sciences. There is even a branch of philosophy named the philosophy of social sciences.

    Is philosophy taught in some high schools? Yes.

    Most basic introductions to social science include some consideration of philosophy of social science constructs.
