I can't beat Misty in Pokemon Red?

I have a strong Charmeleon but obviously her water pokemon are strong against it. I got my Charmeleon to beat her staryu but her starmie's bubble attack destroyed it, and then its bubble attack knocked out all my other pokemon right after! Help! I feel like I don't stand a chance!

My other pokemon are a pikachu, pidgey, beedrill, rattata, geodude, zubat, and a useless metapod who can only harden.

    Level up your Pikachu! Obviously lightning attacks are really strong against water. Pikachu is your best bet. I know training can take some time to do, but its all part of the pokemon expereince. Have fun! :)

    Spend all your time leveling up pikachu.
