Make everyone know what you are singing with very, very clear pronunciation (you can still be informal and use good pronunciation), and make everyone know that you believe in this song!

You want folks to buy into what you sing; you can't do that if they can't tell what you're singing.

You probably would benefit from voice lessons. All the professional singers take lessons. You can't hurt your voice by taking lessons, but you can hurt yourself by not doing the best that's in you, and that's what you do if you don't take some voice lessons. find a voice teacher who has values similar to yours.

The song is great for a beginner level hobby singer. I couldn't hear any of the words so I have no clue what it was about and you sound as if you have blocked nose this is caused by not using correct singing techniques.
