Windows 7: Login stuck in "Welcome" screen?
So I brought my laptop to my friends house and turned it on. It worked fine and I connected to the internet then my laptop froze randomly. I couldn't even move the cursor or anything. I turned it off and tried to login again but after putting in my password it gets stuck on the "welcome" loading screen. I tried going in safe mode but it requires me to log in and it freezes there too. I don"t know what to do, I have very important files on there and I don't know how I am going to transfer them to a new laptop if I can't even log in.

Before it even goes to the log in screen. I think you press F9 or F11 It will take you to a place where you can clean out your computer and restore it to a healthier state. If your computer is not F9 OR F11 then try other F2 or F3 or whatever.

Something is wrong with the network settings, it's hard to say what. Unplug your laptop from the internet, log in and then reconnect.
